Sherrington Associates are delighted to be the retained search partner for leading B Corp nature recovery business Green Earth Developments, in their quest to appoint a new Financial Controller.
Green Earth Developments Group
Green Earth Developments Group (GEDG) has unrivalled expertise in the acquisition, management, and re-purposing of brownfield sites in the UK.
As a purpose-driven, ethical business, their mission is to deliver regenerative solutions for the divestment and re-purposing of brownfield sites across the UK. From former landfills, quarries, lagoons and chemical works, the ability to convert difficult legacy sites of the past into unique environmental and community assets of the future is Green Earth Development Group’s core strength. Their circular economy operating model uses surplus soil from construction projects that would normally be sent to landfill, thus restoring otherwise unusable brownfield land.
GEDG provide layered benefits including solar power, biodiversity and open green spaces for the public, which in-turn provide solutions back to the developer and local authorities enabling further sustainable development and investment into the local area. By developing renewable energy projects and biodiversity on brownfield sites, they are not only preserving valuable farmland for food security but helping to decarbonise both industry and the grid.
Now, in a period of significant growth, the organisation is looking to appoint a senior Financial Controller to work with the Finance Director and wider management team to grow and scale the business and it's impact.
