Following an extremely robust and thorough judging process, the 2016 Mersey Maritime Industry Awards culminated in a fantastic evening at Wallasey Town Hall on March 10th, where Sherrington Associates was proud to have been nominated for the Best Newcomer Award.
Sponsored by marine surveying and salvaging experts Brookes Bell, the nominees were of extremely high calibre this year and whilst Sherrington didn’t win we were immensely proud to be on a stage with such worthy contenders.
Host Louise Minchin of BBC News compered the evening amongst a host of high profile industry figures from within the maritime and logistics sector, including the UK Minister for Shipping Robert Goodwill MP and Sir Michael Bibby of Bibby Group.
