Sherrington Associates are the newly retained search partner for a global subsea engineering business. Following recent meetings with their Global VP in Houston, Sherrington have been tasked with recruiting a new Managing Director for their European business which is headquartered in Merseyside.
We are looking to talk with experienced Managing Directors from the subsea engineering / renewable energy / manufacturing / offshore sectors. Like many in the subsea and offshore sectors, the business has seen significant fall in turnover since the start of the downturn, however following a major rationalisation and restructuring programme to cut costs and drive efficiencies, the business is now primed for growth as the market conditions begin to ease and as they transition into the renewable energy sector.
Looking to cement their place as a world leader in this particular niche of subsea manufacturing capability, the business now looks to new product development and new international markets to achieve it's ambitions of trebling turnover in the next five years. We are looking for a highly accomplished MD to lead the business through this critical stage in its evolution and work with the board in the US to restore the business to its former glory.
