Innovation in Learning Award
Sherrington Associates are thrilled to have won their second award of 2023. On Thursday 9th November 2023 at Eaton Park, home of the Duke of Westminster, Sherrington celebrated along with over 100 guests from other businesses, education establishments and public sector bodies, toasting the most impactful efforts on green innovation.
The team's entry showcased recent work developing and embedding the 4A Model of Sustainable Leadership - a project that started life in 2020, to develop the a consensus-based model of sustainable leadership with which organisations could use to recruit and develop leaders with the right qualities to deliver sustainability.
Supported by an advisory board and with research led by Professor Paul Beers and his team, the project culminated in what we now call the 4A Model of Sustainable Leadership, a model that has been successfully deployed to assess leadership candidates within Sherrington's executive search work. The project gained interest from a wide-range of purpose-led clients and businesses from day one and the work was recognised earlier in the year at the Good Small Business Awards in Liverpool, where the team scooped the 'People Centred Award' for the impact the model was having on our ability to recruit more sustainable leaders.
This time the team scooped the 'Innovation In Learning Award' at Eaton amongst strong competition from a number of colleges and educational establishments.
To win the 'Innovation in Learning Award' means so much to our team. We've always known this work can make a huge impact for the organisations that utilise the 4A Model and our related tools. To have this confirmed by the judges is fantastic. A huge thanks to our team, partners and advisory board.
